Ever forgotten someone's mobile phone number and it was the only number they had? Now a company in the UK is offering to put you in touch. The service claims to have a database and be able to SMS your target, asking them to call you back. And in future, they company plans to put your call through to the target.
Some of the public have expressed worries over privacy, but others may see it as a marketing miracle come true.
The company, 118800.co.uk, claims that users can search to find out if the mobile phone number is available for the named person. If they do, the website will text them with your details so that they can call you back. The company says it will not give out the numbers. The service will cost you £1 to send the text and free to the recipient.
