Polish police have teamed up with Britain's Scotland Yard in an appeal to find five Polish men who are among ten sought by UK police for crimes committed abroad.
Those sought are Poles, Lithuanians, Romanians and a Briton. The crimes are up to a decade old, committed in Poland, Lithuania, Romania an the United States. The identities of the suspects have been published on the Crimestoppers website.
According to the website, the suspects include: Two Polish brothers, Wojciech Glowacki, 28, and Dariusz Glowacki, 32, accused of three rapes in 2000 and 2001. They have links to Acton, west London and Slough; Marcin Grabowski, 32, wanted for an attempted firearms murder in Poland; Zbigniew Kawecki, 55, wanted for firearms offences and attempts to extort more than £1m in Lublin, Poland. He has links to Greenford, west London; Tomasz Galas, 28, is wanted in Poland for attempted rape in Radom in 2001 and for cannabis smuggling. He has links to Croydon, Surrey.
