Radio Orla, the online Anglo-Polish radio station and Hayes FM 91.8, a new multilingual FMbroadcaster in west London, have teamed up to launch a programming block targeting the Polish community in the FM station's catchment area. Thecommercial radio station aims to target an estimated 28,000 Poles in the London boroughs of Ealing, Hillingdon and Hounslow. Initial funding for the stationwas provided by George Matlock, the managing director of Radio Orla, whohas borrowed money to start the station. Advertisers include Polish moneytransfer provider J Reddington. The station already has 6,000 online listeners.
